On Thursday, the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari summoned his service chiefs for an emergency meeting.
This comes barely 48 hours after the Presidential Brigade Guards came under attack by terrorists and after the senators demanded that he resolves terrorist attacks in the country or be impeached.
The said meeting was confirmed on Channels Television’s Politics Today by Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina on Wednesday.

“Tomorrow the President has summoned another security meeting with the heads of the security agencies,” Adesina said.
