Two brothers identified as Alhaji Mustapha Lawal and Bello Lawal, were on Tuesday, June 14, murdered by Suspected bandits in Kaduna State.
According to a source, Muhammed Madaki who disclosed this to Daily Post, in Kaduna, on Saturday, June 18, the brothers were murdered on their farm in Iyatawa area of Igabi Local Government Area, Zaria
Narrating how it all happened, the source revealed that the victims, who were residents of Kofar Jatau in Zaria city, had gone to their farm to plant some crops when the bandits attacked them, killing two and injuring three other people.
Madaki said the injured victims, all women, are presently receiving medical treatment in a hospital.
He also revealed that last rainy season, the victims’ father, Alhaji Lawal Kofar Jatau, had narrowly escaped kidnap on the same farmland. He sustained severe injuries back then.
