American rapper and actor, Ice Cube, has declared Lil Wayne as the best rapper alive, besides himself.
The actor, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson Sr., made this declaration during an interview with the podcast.
The interviewer had asked him to list his GOAT rapper and in response, Ice Cube gives the merit to Lil Wayne.
“it hard to beat Lil Wayne”. He added.
“His metaphors are otherworldly. As far as lyrics and can make hits, you know. Has been copied all these years and nothing but clones of Lil Wayne at the end of the day. So I just think, besides myself. I’ve done so much for the culture, but uh, yeah, yeah he’s dope.”
