Singer, Sir Tom Jones Receives Urgent Medical Attention After Collapsing On Tour

Legendary singer, Tom Jones, 82, has been forced to postpone a concert in Budapest after he allegedly collapsed during his European tour.
Recall that the iconic singer’s “Surrounded by Time tour” has been taking him around the continent, beginning in the UK with shows in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham.
His upcoming dates include performances in Germany, Croatia, Italy, Norway and Belgium.
However, ahead of the latest European date on his Surrounded by Time tour, the singer took ill and this resulted in paramedics being called to the venue.
“Tom Jones collapsed, so his concert was cancelled tonight and doctors were called to the stadium. His management has set August 16th as the new date for the concert.” A source told MailOnline.
According to the source, he collapsed around an hour before he was due to perform, but hoped he would be able to continue with the concert.
However, stagehand Péter Kovács revealed that after private doctors’ orders, Sir Tom was forced to cancel the gig just minutes before he was due to take to the stage.
Note that Tom Jones had previously opened up on his health. The Welsh star stated that he has no plans to slow down despite pleas from his doctors.
Back in 2018, he was struck with a nasty infection that landed him in hospital and although he was advised by medical professionals to “slow down,” He decided to ignore them.
