American singer, Taylor Swift, 32, is reportedly engaged to her actor boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, 31.
According to a source who spoke with The Sun, Joe proposed to Taylor months ago but the singer only wears her “beautiful ring” in private to avoid the general public knowing.
The source also revealed that the couple who has been together for 5 years have “only told” their inner circle.
“Basically immediate family, and trusted, very old friends. Everyone has been sworn to secrecy, too.
Again, only a handful of people know details about the wedding and Taylor hasn’t even told some of her team about the engagement.”
“They want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible. This is just for them. And if and when they do exchange vows, there most definitely won’t be any Vogue, Rolling Stone or Hello! magazines there. It will be simple and elegant – like them.” the source said.
Note that since they reportedly started dating in 2017, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn kept the details of their relationship private.
Also, this is not the first time there have been reports of an engagement.
In January 2020, Taylor stoked sparked engagement speculation after she was spotted with what looked like a large diamond ring on her left ring finger in her Netflix documentary, “Miss Americana.”
Back in April, Alwyn addressed rumors claiming he secretly proposed to Swift in an interview with WSJ. Magazine.
“If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins,” he said at the time.
“I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”
